Other participants can speak any supported language. You hear a natural translated voice, with the original sound turned down.

Speak normally. Your translated voice goes into the call as your microphone, so nobody else needs to install anything.

The original and translated text appear side by side, in Chrome's side panel or in a floating panel on the call.

How it works

up and running in four steps

  1. step 01 · join

    Join your Google Meet call

    Open the meeting as usual, then click the extension icon in Chrome's toolbar.

  2. step 02 · choose

    Pick two languages

    The language you want to hear, and the language the others should hear you in. Speakers' languages are detected automatically.

  3. step 03 · connect

    Use your key or sign in

    Paste your own Gemini API key, or sign in with Google and let our server hand out short-lived access for each session.

  4. step 04 · talk

    Start translating

    Subtitles appear, and translated voices play for each side. Turn either direction on or off at any time.
