These Terms govern your use of the Meet Live Voice Translator Chrome extension and its sign-in server (together, "the service"), published by DNG Team ("we", "us"). By installing or using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The extension provides real-time, two-way speech translation during Google Meet calls using the Google Gemini API. You can use it with your own Gemini API key or, where available, by signing in with Google.
2. Your responsibilities
- Inform other meeting participants that their speech is being translated by an AI service, and obtain their consent where the law or your organization's policies require it.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with the Google Terms of Service and the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service.
- If you use your own API key, keep it secret. Any usage and charges on your key are your responsibility.
- Do not try to abuse, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the limits of the sign-in server.
3. Translation accuracy
Translations are generated automatically by AI and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Do not rely on the service for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other decisions where mistakes could cause harm. Confirm important information with a qualified human interpreter.
4. Availability
The service depends on Google Meet and the Gemini API, which may change or become unavailable. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service, or limit access to the sign-in mode, at any time.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the service processes and how.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, business or profits, arising from your use of the service.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend access to the sign-in mode for accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Trademarks
Google, Google Meet, Gemini and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. This extension is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Google.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the service means you accept them.
